Mother's Day Fantasy Wish List

With adjusting to parenthood this past month, life has been a blur. The rinse, lather, & repeat cycle every 2 hours (i.e. feed, change, sleep) has made the days fuse together. I may not be able to recall what day of the week it is; however, I hear somewhere that Mother's Day is coming this weekend. Every website I peruse has outlined Mother's Day gift ideas which is fine and dandy- but no items I would concur with.

So to cope with the cabin fever that comes with life with a newborn, I am running away with this and I have created my fantasy wish list. Why fantasy? Because in reality, maternity leave pay is equivocal to peanuts and my poor husband can only work so many extra hours to make up for the loss of income. Bills come first. Hence, I have geared into conservative mode for the next year. That means I can look and browse, but I cannot allow myself to "add to cart". And also fantasy because honestly I wouldn't seriously expect super expensive gifts for Mother's Day (is this reverse psychology working here...?)  Mind you, I almost pulled the trigger on a vintage Gucci Web Boston Tote as a 'push present' but decided against it because I have an aversion to monogram logos - great price or not.

Anyhow, I digress. Here is my list:

1) Chanel Shopper's Tote from the current season - I can live with this pink. And I swear by convertible top and shoulder handles!

2) Hermès Ronde Multi bracelet in rose gold.

3) Since the immediate post pregnancy body is still much like the 2nd trimester pregnancy body.. how about a flowy dress from the Chanel S/S 2013 collection?

4} And I love this drapey number from the Row S/S 2013.. its like living in luxurious pyjamas... and living in lounging clothes is something I've learned to appreciate post-partum. :)
